| | | Sprat's Hatch Bridge is reached after nearly a mile from Baseley's Bridge.
| It is yet another of the original brick-arched bridges still surviving which date from the building of the canal. Restored by HCC in 1975, it has been strengthened with two tie rods connected to a pair of steel pattress plates on each face of the bridge.

| The bridge takes its name from the nearby Sprat's Hatch Farm.
| | | Today it carries only a cart track and public footpath. The brick parapets were rebuilt after damage from a fallen tree in the 1987 storms.
| The large tree on the left, which has grown since the bridge's construction, does not appear to have damaged the structure.

| | | Looking back, ie 'downstream' from the bridge, the woodland appears slightly more open.
