The 67ft long John Pinkerton conforms to Government safety regulations and is crewed by trained volunteer members of the Surrey and Hampshire Canal Society. All proceeds go towards maintaining and improving the canal.

The boat is licensed to carry 50 passengers. For smaller, private parties, seating can be arranged as required - from wedding receptions to business meetings and social outings of all kinds. Seating can be arranged as shown, for a charter trip, or, for public trips, in pairs facing forward with centre aisle.

 

There is a well stocked bar on board, with light refreshments, tea and coffee. Postcards and souvenirs are for sale. The boat has a toilet and is covered for all-weather cruising.

Whether you join a public trip aboard the John Pinkerton or charter the boat for a private party, a leisurely cruise provides a unique way to enjoy the fine countryside and unspoilt woodlands along the canal.
